The fidau prayer for former Super Eagles coach Shaibu Amodu who died last week will hold on Saturday, June 18, his family has announced.

Four time Super Eagles coach, Amodu died on Saturday, June 11 after complaining of chest pains the previous night. He was buried that same day.

His family has announced that the eighth day fidau prayer for him will take place at his Lagos home - 41b, Adegoke Street, off Alhaji Masha Street, Surulere, Lagos starting from 10am on Saturday.

In another related news, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reacted to claims by Amodu’s family that the late coach was owed seven months salary.  
General Secretary of the NFF, Mohammed Sanusi clarified that the late coach was owed for just two months.
Amodu's family will be paid the amount, the NFF also confirmed.
